A Beautiful Story is committed to helping to make the world a better place. Their hearts lie with the people in developing countries, who have enormous talent and craftsmanship, but who not always get the chance to find their way to the international market. A Beautiful Story consciously chooses to give them the chance to learn a profession and be rewarded for it. The people in the workshops are paid and become financially independent so that they can also support their family. This is how their impact works. The beads used are fair trade certified, they use recycled silver and the working conditions in the workshops in Nepal are closely monitored. ABS now has a long-term relationship with these people. Their focus is on Fair Trade and creating opportunities for craftsmen and women in economically difficult situations. Beads for Life allows the women to earn their own money and to become independent within the Nepalese society.
