Erstwhile

Erstwhile is founded by, and for, people who love sports and the amateur culture. The all day to day and creative aspects of Erstwhile are done in their hometown Mechelen (Belgium), but the actual craftmanship takes place in Barcelos (Portugal).

They only use fair-trade and organic cotton and they work with companies with a shared culture of putting happy people at the center of their business.

As an example, in Portugal they work together with Larga Imagem. This is a small family owned company that has been operating for decades. They excel at making the finest cotton garments.

Erstwhile also funds research for cancer: they made 1000km t-shirts, all profits from this shirt go directly to cancer research as well as 15% of all other profits.
