Makia

Makia is a Finnish brand and was founded in 2001. It is known for it’s clean lines and cuts. They make designs that are as usable and functional as possible, no-nonsense clothing that you never want to throw away. For better transparency of the production, all of the garments are labelled with the country of origin, which is the place where the final form of the product is given. The manufacturing partners have all signed Makia’s code of conduct that is based on BSCI guidelines, as well as ILO and UN human rights regulations. All of the garments comply to the European Union reach regulations.

They also collaborate with Pure Waste Textiles for their recycled products. Pure Waste Textiles makes ecologically sustainable and premium quality 100% recycled fabrics and yarns. And offer the consumer the same quality and comfort as those made out of virgin materials.
